Dengue Fever – Playing Games With Our Lives

Does Huffington Post read the Times of India; “http://articles.timesofindia.indiatimes.com/2012-12-20/chennai/35933070_1_dengue-virus-dengue-cases-dengue-patients” – obviously not. It’s not required reading, especially if you want to remain in the dark, void of truth.

The Huffington Post article http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/09/11/dengue-fever-vaccine-effective-sanofi-_n_1872317.html?view=print&comm_ref=false reports; “But it seems that making a mixed dengue vaccine containing four different virus strains can produce uneven results, underscoring the complexity of a disease that scientists have been trying to develop a vaccine against for over 70 years.”

I need to think of something that would make me chuckle...

I need to think of something that would make me chuckle…

    In my frustrated anger at what is going on, especially when I think of young children who are least able to fight off this horrific mosquito borne disease, I have to look for a simple reply, that would generate a chuckle every time I hear anyone say, or I read; “There is no known cure for dengue fever. Forest Gump came to mind as I read the Huffington Post news release.

 Are you crazy or something? Or just plain stupid”!

     Some international news agency, with a moral conscience needs to reveal to the world; there is one non-toxic cure that cures all types of dengue fever.

      To the grand Huffington Post I offer this extraction from the Times Of India;

Scientists dropped the four strains of the dengue virus on the cell lines (drawn from the gut cells of dengue causing albopictus mosquito) and added the herbal preparation. Normally, the virus would have entered the cells. “After two days, we found the cell-lines were unaffected. The virus was neutralized by the herbal formulation. Further tests showed it blocked the virus from entering the cell. In cells where the virus had already entered, it prevented multiplication,” said King Institute director Dr P Gunasekaran.” (Times Of India)

Anyone reading this that has the means and savvy to communicate with any major news agency, I plead with you to help get this out to the entire world– a known cure for dengue fever has been around since 2008. Doctor Sanath Hettige twice published his finding in the British Medical Journal.
